Während der Prozession Riti Settenali, die alle 7 Jahre in der
italienischen Kleinstadt Guardia Sanframondi nördlich von
Neapel stattfindet, geißeln sich die Flagellant(inn)en, um Buße zu tun.
Die Flagellant(inn)en sind in weiße Kittel gehüllt, um ihre Anonymität zu wahren.
During the procession of Riti Settenali, which takes place every 7 years in the
small Italian town of Guardia Sanframondi north of Naples,
the flagellants flag out to repent. The flagellants wear white coats
to maintain anonymity.
